Derek is the co-founder and CEO of Way 2 Work Ireland which was set up in 2019 to support young people with a care-experienced background. We work in partnership with Tusla and the CIF to provide opportunities across the construction sector for young care leavers.
Through my 10 years working in the social care sectors, I’ve continued to work with drug use and addiction. I also studied addiction counselling and intervention skills at UCD several years ago.
