Shara Smith

Shara is the current honorary president of the Occupational Hygiene Society of Ireland (OHSI). Shara holds a PG Diploma in Occupational Hygiene from the University of Manchester and an MSc in Biotechnology from University College Cork. She worked in the pharmaceutical industry for several years before joining the Health and Safety Authority in 2008. She is a board member of the International Occupational Hygiene Association (IOHA) and an associate member of the Faculty of Occupational Hygiene in the UK.
