Derek Murphy has over 38 years of EHSQ experience across global construction, working in sectors such as Life Sciences, Data Centres, Biomass, Energy, Microelectronics, Aviation, Healthcare, Food & Beverage, and FM services. He has held senior leadership roles, driving award-winning health and safety performance, cultural transformation, and the implementation of ISO accredited management systems.
Derek chairs the Lighthouse Charity (Ireland) and has been a key contributor to the Construction Safety Partnership Advisory Committee, actively supporting multiple CIF and HSA collaboration groups. Through his consultancy, he partners with organisations seeking best in class EHSQ standards, specialising in behavioural safety, risk management, training, and strategic safety leadership.
