Clare Moore

Equality and Social Affairs Officer for the Irish Congress of Trade Unions in Northern Ireland

Clare is a graduate of Queens University Belfast and holds a Masters in Education.  She has been working with Congress for nearly thirty years during which time she has had the lead role in organising health and safety campaigns such as highlighting the dangers of asbestos in schools and other public buildings as well as organising the annual National Commemoration for Workers memorial Day on 28 April.  Clare also has policy responsibility for equality policy matters in Northern Ireland and as part of this brief has developed workplace guidance on a range of topics including supporting members dealing with the menopause and eliminating sexual harassment from the world of work.  Clare represents Congress on the Women’s Committee of the European TUC.
